Oregon Tech Falls in Four at Northwest Christian

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s Joey Parnell led the way with a double-double 14 kills and 14 digs, but could not overcome a slow start as Northwest Christian took tonight's Cascade Conference match in four sets 3-1 (25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21).

Oregon Tech fell to 9-7 overall and 3-6 in the conference standings.

Following Parnell’s 14 kill effort, Jennifer Saltenberger added 7 kills, followed by Tessa Houck with 6.  Krystie Vea led the Tech defense with 18 digs, while Sarah Svedin finished with 24 assists, 11 digs and 2 aces.

Oregon Tech will look to bounce back in the CCC standings when they visit Warner Pacific and Concordia University this Friday and Saturday in Portland.
