Softball Team Hosts Inaugural Alumni Game

The Oregon Tech softball team hosted its inaugural alumni game on October 8th at the Tech complex.  Twelve former Lady Owls returned to participate in a doubleheader versus the current team with a barbeque dinner for all participants and family members following the contest.  It was a typical gorgeous fall day with good fan support for the event that was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Former co-head Coaches Mary Bradford and Danny Miles coached the Alumni squad which included: Molly (Mills) Hamilton, Meagan Mills, Leah Azevedo, Jenni Warner, Joell Whitton, Kassie (Ross) Nelson, Lisa (Murphy) Wallace, Danielle (Soldani) Richey, Tammy Mason, Brenda (Ruppel) Mick, Lana (Hoppe) Loney, and Torrie Philippi. 

Coach Greg Stewart said, I would like to thank all of those Alumni who were able to participate, and I hope we can make this an annual event. Stewart continued, I would like to apologize to any alumni who did not know about this event or were notified too late, as we are still in the process of updating our Softball Alumni List.
