Oregon Tech falls to No. 17 College of Idaho

CALDWELL. Idaho – The Oregon Tech volleyball took down 17th ranked College of Idaho in the opening set, but the Yotes were to much as the Owls dropped the next three to the home team losing in four, 23-25, 25-14, 25-5, 25-15.
Megan Christensen led the Owl offense with 8 kills, while Mindy Rencher followed with 6 and Sarah Svedin 5. Three Owls finished in double figure digs led by both Hannah Brewster and Kayleigh Whelchel with 12 each, while Bridget Harrison added 11.
C of I came away with an attack percentage of .287 compared to the Owls’ .014, while also putting away 57 kills to Oregon Tech’s 27 on the night.
Oregon Tech will look to get back on track after a tough three-match road trip when they host Warner Pacific College and Concordia University this Friday and Saturday night. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 7 PM.
