Western Oregon Downs Oregon Tech 3-2

MONMOUTH, Ore. - The Wolves outshot the Owls 24-7 but it took a goal in the 85th minute by Chelsy Okuma for the Western Oregon soccer team to slip past in-state rival Oregon Tech 3-2, Thursday (Oct. 13).

The win moved WOU's record to 4-8-3 (2-5-0 GNAC) and gave them back-to-back victories for the first time this season. The loss drops OIT to 10-4-0 overall (3-2-0 CCC).

For Oregon Tech, Brooke Cole and Sara Ziegler both had goals in the second half in the loss.

The Lady Owls return home this Friday, October 16th at 2:00 pm to take on Cascade Conference Power and No. 5 in the Nation Concordia University at Trevor Derrah Field.
