Warner Pacific Picked One, Tech Two In Men's Poll

The Warner Pacific College Knights claimed 10 of 11 first-place votes in the men’s poll and are the overwhelming favorites to repeat as CCC regular-season champions.

Following in a tie for second are the Hustlin’ Owls of Oregon Tech and the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers.

Oregon Tech and eight-time CCC men’s basketball coach of the year head coach Danny Miles received the only other first-place vote and will look to overtake Knights for CCC supremacy after tying for first in 2006-07.

After falling to Warner Pacific 58-51 in the tournament championship, Eastern Oregon just missed out on being the fifth representative of the CCC at the NAIA Division II National Tournament last season.

The poll finished out with The College of Idaho in the fourth spot followed by Northwest, Southern Oregon, Concordia, Evergreen, Corban, Cascade, and Northwest Christian.
