Albertson Stops Oregon Tech In Four

Owls Will Finish Fourth In League Play

Klamath Falls, Oregon (November 4, 2005) --- Albertson College insured a third place finish in conference play as they defeated Oregon Tech in four games Friday evening 35-33, 30-22, 15-30, 30-24.

Albertson (18-4, 14-3) was led in Kills by Kathryn Ely with 14 while Fran Hartman and Katie Hogue with 12 and 11 respectively. Tiffany Sower and Erin Cherrington added 12 and 10 digs each.

Oregon Tech (15-9, 11-6) was led in kills by Krista Wooley with 14 while Michelle Klaja and Melissa Frank added 13 and 12 kills each. Klaja completed her double double with a match high 18 digs.

Albertson will be at #9 Southern Oregon Saturday evening while Oregon Tech entertains Eastern Oregon on senior night. Oregon Tech seniors Marcie Mitzner, Jennifer Cueto, Melissa Frank, Jaime Ferry and Nicole Morozzo will play there final match at Danny Miles court. They five ladies and their parents will be honored prior to the match.
