Oregon Tech Moves to 2-0 After 95-34 Win

Walla Walla, Wash. – The Oregon Tech women’s basketball team moved to 2-0 after defeating Walla Walla University for the second time in as many days, 95-34, this afternoon in non-league play in Walla Walla.

Oregon Tech shot 56% from the floor (44-for-78) and held the home team to just 28% shooting to pick up their second win of the season.  Tech recorded 28 assists and turned the ball over just three times in the victory over the Wolves.

Aundrea Albright led all scorers with 18 points on a 9-for-10 effort from the floor.  Tech sophomore Karissa Dixon added 13 points, five assists and a pair of steals, while Colleen Hunt and Kassi Conditt added 10 points each, in a game where every player scored.  Jazzy McDaniel grabbed nine rebounds with Maria Ramirez adding eight points, five assists and three steals in the win.

Up next Oregon Tech (2-0) heads south to Rocklin, Calif. to play in the William Jessup University Classic, facing the host team on Friday and NAIA DI Fresno Pacific on day 2.  Both games tip-off at 2:00 p.m. and can be heard live in the Klamath Basin on 960 AM KLAD.
