Foster’s 30 Points Not Enough as Owls Fall

Oregon Tech's Joseph Foster Scored 30 Points in Loss on Saturday  |
ROCKLIN, Calif. – Oregon Tech’s Joseph Foster followed up his 32 point effort Friday night with 30 points Saturday night but it was not enough as The Hustlin’ Owls fell to California Baptist 78-64 Saturday afternoon playing in the Bill Holtz Classic on the campus of William Jessup University.
Tech picked up its first loss of the season slipping to 3-1. California Baptist a NAIA Division I school picked up gets its first win of the season moving to 1-3.
The Lancers dominated Tech in the first half taking a 37-23 lead at the half.
The teams played an even second half with each scoring 41 points.
The Lancers had 4 players in double figures led by 17 points from Brannon Bradley.
Cal-Baptist also had a huge advantage winning the battle of the boards 42-19.
Foster had 30 points to lead Oregon Tech with Kyle Gomez chipping in 11.
Oregon Tech will play host to the Midland-Empire Insurance Classic next weekend at Danny Miles Court. Tech will play Bethany University Friday night at 7:30 pm and Pacific Union on Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
