Oregon Tech Impressive in 70 Point Victory

REDDING, Calif. – Oregon Tech finished 12-of-24 from the 3-point line and held host Simpson University to just three first half field goals, as the ninth-ranked Hustlin’ Owls pounded the Redhawks to the tune of 105-35 tonight in non-conference action.

 

Oregon Tech moves to 6-1 on the season and will host Simpson on Tuesday, November 30th, with the game scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 PM.

 

All 10 Owls finished in the scoring column with six in double figures.  Joseph Foster finished with a game-high 20 points, followed by 13 from Mihaljo Matic.  Brent Johnson, tonight’s Applebee’s Player of the Game, came away with a career-high 12 points, as Bryant Sentman also added 12 points in the win.  Alex Zerbach finished with 11 points, followed by 10 from Nathan Maddox.

 

Oregon Tech travels to Ashland where the Owls face Fresno Pacific on Friday and William Jessup University on Saturday in the Southern Oregon University Flagship Inn Classic.  Both games begin at 5:30 PM and can be heard on KLAD 92.5 FM.
