Owls Hold on for 75-67 Victory

REDDING, Calif. – The Oregon Tech women’s basketball team took a comfortable 18 point lead into intermission and was able to hold on, as the Owls edged Cal Pac foe Simpson University tonight in non-conference action by a 75-67 final.

 

Tech’s Brittany Cherry and Aundrea Albright scored 16 points each, as the Owls moved to 4-4 on the season with the victory.  Cherry also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds with Albright adding six rebounds in the win.  Crissy Watts netted 12 points and three assists, while Karissa Dixon followed with 10 points to go with four assists.

 

Oregon Tech will look to avenge an earlier loss to Menlo College when the Owls host the Oaks this Friday at Danny Miles Court with the tip-off set for 12 PM.
