Oregon Tech Cruises to 78-62 Win Over William Jessup

ASHLAND, Ore. - The Oregon Tech men’s basketball team took a double-digit lead midway through the first period and used the momentum to cruise to a 78-62 victory tonight over William Jessup University at the Flagship Inn Classic hosted by Southern Oregon University.
The Owls move to 7-2 overall after defeating William Jessup University for the second time in as many tries on the season. WJU falls to 2-5 on the season after the loss.
Coming off a double-double performance last night, Tech guard Kyle Gomez hit for 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Joseph Foster scored 20 points and handed out four assists in the win for the Owls. Brandon Bautista and Brent Johnson combined for 11 points, with Johnson grabbing a game-high 13 boards.
Oregon Tech entertains Simpson University on Tuesday, November 30th, beginning at 5:30 PM. This is the second meeting of the season between Oregon Tech and Simpson, as the Owls handed the Redhawks a lopsided 105-35 defeat in Redding, Calif. just four days ago.
