Oregon Tech Defeats Cal-Maritime, 56-36

VALLEJO, Calif. – Oregon Tech held their opponent to just 21.1% shooting on the night and 12 different players scored, as the Lady Owls defeated Cal-Maritime University by a 56-36 score this afternoon in non-conference basketball action.

Oregon Tech (9-3) connected on just 31.4% from the floor, but was able to hold the Keelhaulers to just 12 field goals in today’s contest, including a 1-19 effort from 3-point range, to secure their second victory over Cal-Maritime this season.
Kassi Conditt recorded a double-double, as the junior finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds in the win for Tech. Colleen Hunt added 8 points, including 6 from the charity stripe while grabbing 6 boards. Carrie Thibault and Kiana Caban scored 6 points each with Karissa Dixon finishing with 3 assists and 7 rebounds.
The Owls next host Northwest Indian College Sunday and Monday with both games tipping off at 5:30PM at Danny Miles Court. The Lady Owls resume Cascade Conference play at home versus No. 22 College of Idaho this Friday, while taking on tenth-ranked Eastern Oregon University on Saturday. Both of those games also begin at 5:30PM.
