Oregon Tech Jumps to No. 13 in Coaches Poll

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) The Oregon Tech men’s basketball team jumped 5 spots to the No. 13 position in the NAIA 2010-11 Men’s Basketball Division II Top 25 Coaches’ Poll announced today (Dec. 13th). The Hustlin’ Owls are currently 10-2 overall with both losses coming to NAIA D I opponents.

Eastern Oregon (10-1) is the lone Cascade Collegiate Conference team ranked in the Top-10, this week staying put at the No. 8 spot. Northwest University (9-2) of Kirkland, Wash. moved up three spot from No. 14. to No.11. Other Cascade Conference teams to receive votes were Southern Oregon University.

Oregon Tech will return to CCC play this Friday, December 17th when they host College of Idaho and Saturday, December 18th when No.8 Eastern Oregon comes to town. Both games are scheduled for 5:30 pm tip-offs.
