Oregon Tech Falls 5-0 to The Evergreen State

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College scored three first half goals and added a pair in the second stanza, as Oregon Tech fell by a 5-0 count this afternoon in Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s soccer action.
Oregon Tech falls to 0-5-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the CCC standings and will try to get in the win column this Wednesday as the Owls host Warner Pacific College in their first home match of the season beginning at 6PM at Steen Sports Park.
TESC’s Willie Spurr scored the first two goals; the first went unassisted while Kevin Flavin recorded an assist on the second. Flavin netted goal three for the Geoducks at the 39:10 mark before the first half ended.
Mirza Memic would tally Evergreen’s final two scores, one on an assist from Spurr with the final goal of the match coming at the 66:26 mark.
Oregon Tech managed five shots on goal all saved by keeper Collin Harrow. Evergreen held a 7-0 advantage in corners.
