KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Corban scored four second half goals, one on a penalty kick in and another with just 1 second left in the game to knock off Oregon Tech 4-0 as both teams opened up Cascade Conference play Tuesday night at Steen Sports Park.
Corban moves to 1-0 in CCC play and 4-0 on the season with the win. Oregon Tech falls to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in CCC action.
After a scoreless first half, the Warriors wasted little time getting on the board in the second half as Bobby Hutchin took a Kemar Prince cross scoring the eventual game winner from about 10 yards out in the 47th minute.
Prince then gave Corban a 2-0 lead scoring on a PK in the 65 minute after Tech was whistled for a hand ball in the box.
Corban didn’t let up scoring again in the 74th minute as Tim Kagey used a strong wind at his back to score on free kick from just inside the midfield stripe.
Eliseo Santana then scored with just 1 second left on the game clock as he took a free ball and scored from 12 yards out.
Oregon Tech will try and bounce back as they host Evergreen State Saturday at 1:00 pm at Steen Sports Park.
