Warriors Sneak Past Hustlin’ Owls 2-0

(SALEM, Ore.) – After a scoreless first half, Corban University scored two goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to down the Hustlin’ owls of Oregon Tech 2-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action. Oregon Tech falls to 0-7-1, and 0-4 in CCC play. Corban moves to 3-3-3, and 2-2-1 in CCC play with the victory.

Corban came out of the halftime break with more purpose as they scored in the 53rd minute when Aaron Kinnes scored low and hard through the Oregon Tech Keeper to make it a 1-0 game.

Exactly 5 minutes later, Arsino Walker made it a 2-0 game when he scored on a ricochet off the Keeper.

For the game Corban out shot Oregon Tech 18-6 and held a slight 5-3 lead in shot on goal.

The Warriors also held a 10-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Oregon Tech will travel south to play at Northwest Christian University (2-6-1, 04-1 CCC) in Eugene, Ore. at 7:00 pm
