KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head coach Jack Kegg announced today the signing of two athletes to the cross country and track teams, as Henry Bingham (Carson City, Nevada) and Sara Musgrave (Sacramento, California) will begin competing for the Owls this fall.
Bingham (in green and gold in photo on the left), from Bishop Manogue High School, ran a 4:40 in the 1600 meters and clocked in at 9:51 in the 3200 meter race. In the 5K event in cross country, Bingham ran a 16:55.
“Hank had a great senior season and I am looking for him to contribute immediately since he will be one of the very few athletes coming down in elevation from High School to Klamath Falls,” mentioned Kegg.
Bingham is the son of Todd and Shirlee Bingham of Carson City, Nevada and plans to major in Biology-Health Sciences at Oregon Tech in the fall.
Musgrave, out of El Camino High School, clocked in at 2:49 in the 800 meter race, while running a 6:08 in the1600 meter race. In the 5K event in cross country, Musgrave has a best time of 21:30. She was voted her team Captain in 2014 and Most Improved in 2013.
“Sara is great student leader and is very dedicated to become a better runner.” Kegg said.
Musgrave is the Daughter of Pat Musgrave and plans to major in Management Information Systems at Oregon Tech in the fall.
