Owls add McMinnville High all-conference outfielder

McMinnville High School outfielder Chauntae Sublet will join Oregon Tech this fall.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head softball coach, Greg Stewart, announced today that Chauntae Sublet of McMinnville, Ore. has signed a letter of intent and will join the Owl softball roster beginning in 2011.

Sublet earned first-team Pacific Conference honors as an outfielder for McMinnville High School, while also being named team MVP. Sublet batted .329 for the Grizzlies in 25 games, which included 26 hits, 10 doubles and five stolen bases.

Chauntae is the daughter of Debra Jushae-Siever and Bruce Sublet, and will major in nuclear medicine beginning this fall at Oregon Tech.
