KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - After earning all-conference recognition last season in their respective sport, Cascade Collegiate Conference guards, Karissa Dixon and David Clarke highlight the Preseason All-Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s and men’s basketball team selected by the league’s coaches, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Clarke, a 6-foot-3 senior, averaged 10.1 points per game in leading the Owls to a third NAIA national championship in 2012. Clark, a CCC honorable mention selection in 2012, was true on 46% shooting from the floor, including a 75-172 (.436) from long range, while recording a team-high 161 assists. Clarke, the Owls’ only preseason all-conference selection, will look to lead the Hustlin’ Owls to a fifth-straight CCC regular-season and conference tournament crown.
