Owls ink Siskiyous Slugger

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head softball coach, Greg Stewart, is pleased to announce that Janelle Cromie of Tualatin, Ore. has signed a letter-of-intent and will compete for the Owls over the next two seasons.
Prior to competing two seasons at College of the Siskiyous, Cromie earned PAC 6 first-team all-conference honors at Tualatin High School, while also being named to the First-Team 6A All-State squad in 2008 as an infielder for the Timberwolves.
At College of the Siskiyous, the Eagle first baseman batted .355, including 16 homeruns, 44 RBI and finished the 2010 season with a .801 slugging percentage. For her efforts, Cromie was named to the Golden Valley Athletic Conference first-team.
Janelle is the daughter of Joe and Jan Cromie and plans to major in Psychology at Oregon Tech beginning in the fall.
