Alex Antonaras Signs with Oregon Tech

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head baseball coach Matt Miles announced today that Alex Antonaras, an all-star catcher from Long Beach, CA has signed a letter of intent to join the Owl roster in 2012.

Antonaras, a graduate of Millikan High School, was a 1st team all-conference selection in 2011 and 2012. He was the 2012 Team Captain in Baseball and he led his team to consecutive post season appearances in 2011 and 2012. A two sport athlete at Millikan, Antonaras was also an integral member of the high school’s water polo team and was a 2-time all defensive player of the year and 1st team all conference selection in both 2011 and 2012.

“Alex is a top tier catcher from a great baseball area.” said Coach Miles. “Alex has the potential to contribute immediately.”

Antonaras is the son of Sam and Michele Antonaras and will be a Civil Engineering Major at Oregon Tech
