Division I pitcher signs with Owls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head softball coach, Greg Stewart, announced that transfer pitcher Jackie Imhoff of Portland, Oregon will compete at Oregon Tech for the 2011 softball season.
Imhoff starred at Benson Tech High School earning PIL honors prior to spending two seasons at College of the Siskiyous in Weed, Calif.
At COS, Imhoff posted an impressive 24-2 mark her freshman season to earn Golden Valley Conference and First-Team All-State honors. Imhoff recorded 193 strikeouts to go with a 1.02 ERA in 2008. In 2009 Imhoff earned All-American status after she was named California Junior College Pitcher of the Year, where she finished with a remarkable 28-2 record in the circle, while tallying a miniscule 0.41 ERA.
After a 52-4 career pitching mark at COS, the Eagle hurler transferred to San Jose State University where she finished 10-6 for the Spartans during the 2010 season. Imhoff will compete for Oregon Tech her senior season in 2011.
Jackie is the daughter of Mark and Karen Imhoff and will continue her communication studies major beginning in the fall.
