Tech’s Lester Qualifies for 2013 Indoor Track & Field Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- The official qualifiers for the 2013 NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships have been announced by the national office on Friday, as Keith Lester will be the lone Owl to represent Oregon Tech.
The 48th annual men's and 33rd annual women's events will take place Feb. 28 - March 2 in Geneva, Ohio.
In the triple jump event, Lester qualified with a distance of 14.05 m and is seeded no. 22 heading into the championships. The men’s triple jump is set to begin at 1:30 EST on Saturday, March 2nd.
For the third-straight year, the SPIRE Institute will serve as the host venue. There are over 130 men's and women's teams that will make the trip to Geneva. The championships begin on Feb. 28 with the men's heptathlon at 1 p.m. EST and the women's pentathlon at 1:30 p.m.
For the first time ever, the entire national championships will be video-streamed live and free. For more information, click here
