SALEM, Ore. – Kassi Conditt posted a double-double and Oregon Tech pulled away from Corban University with seven minutes to play, as the Owls posted a 55-45 win tonight in Cascade Conference women’s basketball action.
Oregon Tech improved to 21-4 overall and assured themselves a postseason berth, as the Owls moved into sole possession of second place in the CCC standings with a 9-4 mark.
Kassi Conditt notched game-highs with 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Tech over Corban. Karly LeVeque and Tess Armstrong added 11 points apiece with Maria Ramirez recording 10 points and four assists. Karissa Dixon was held scoreless in the contest but surpassed 100 assists on the season, as the senior handed out seven on the night. Conditt added five assists and two steals to her total.
Oregon Tech held a 29-21 advantage at the half before CU got to within a single point on two occasions, the last with 7:08 to play with the Owls leading 43-42.
Tech, however, would end the game on a 12-3 run to earn the 10 point win, 55-45.
Oregon Tech will look to improve their CCC record when the Owls host Evergreen State and Northwest University this Friday and Saturday at Danny Miles Court. Friday is Hawaiian Night, while Tech will host their 5th annual “Pink Out” on Saturday versus the Eagles.
