KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — For the second year in a row, Oregon Tech will send two individual runners to the NAIA national championships as both Paul Adams, for the first time, and Scott Minor, in his fourth-straight national appearance, placed in the top nine at Saturday's Cascade Collegiate Conference championships.

The 2013 NAIA National Championships take place at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kan. on Saturday, November 23rd.
The Hustlin' Owls, who were ranked No. 26 heading to the CCC championship, placed fourth as a team and ended the year receiving votes and now rank 34th in the final poll before the national meet.
Adams finished sixth and covered the men's 8,000-meter course in 26 minutes. 00.24 seconds. Minor was ninth in 26:16.97. Both runners will look to place in the Top 30 which will gain runners NAIA All-American status.
Tech had hoped to place in the Top 3 as a team, instead finished fourth. With at-large bids to the national meet rarely reaching into the receiving votes category, Oregon Tech’s hopes of a first team national appearance will have to wait another year.
