Department of Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veteran Affairs offers Klamath residents two sources of support: a local clinic as well as a rehabilitation center in White City, OR.
The Veterans Affairs Clinic located in Klamath Falls, OR offers the veterans of Klamath County primary medical care. There is a full time physician and nursing staff available based on both an appointment and walk type service. The clinic is located south of the Oregon Tech campus next to Brevada Brewhouse.
The rehabilitation center, located over the hill in White City, offers southern Oregon veterans comprehensive medical treatment. Visit the White City Center's website for more information.
Disabled American Veterans
The Disable American Veterans office (Dewey Powell Chapter #12) provides the veterans of Klamath County with information about benefits, service connected disability filing services, veteran news, counseling, and disaster relief support.

Veterans of Foreign Wars
The local chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Pelican Post 1383) provides the veterans of Klamath Falls a place to experience comradeship with fellow veterans. The VFW is committed to maintaining the memory and history of Klamath Falls veterans while at the same time preserving the memory of all the veterans around the country. American Legion
The local chapter of the American Legion (Post 8) is commanded by Todd A. Cox and is located in downtown Klamath Falls near the Ross Ragland theatre. The American Legion serves the local community as a beacon for all veterans. Aside from veteran support, the American Legion also offers Klamath county residents dances, a local bar, good company, and LIVE music.

Marine Corps League
The Marine Corps League "MCL" (Crater Lake Detachment #373) is a local organization that helps to preserve the traditions of the Marine Corps.
Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
Our local chapter: Crater Lake Chapter was chartered in 1962. It is also known as the Leatherneck Club. Marines are encouraged to join, and other veterans are also encouraged to join as associate members.
