Our career fairs provide an excellent opportunity for you to get to know Oregon Tech better, exchange information informally with students, meet with faculty, and tour Oregon Tech's campus and laboratories. To get the most out of your visit, you may wish to conduct campus interviews preceding or following the event. Employers find that participating in the event provides an opportunity to:
- Promote their organization to students and faculty
- Identify strong candidates for specific career, co-op or internship opportunities (you can build in a day of formal interviewing, either before or after the career fair)
- Deepen your connections with Oregon Tech by meeting with faculty and touring the campus (including laboratories)
- Educate students and faculty about the technical skills and personal qualities they look for in candidates
Visit www.oit.edu/majors for in-depth information on our degree programs and see the Employer home page for a description of which programs are on which campus: programs vary by campus.
Please register on Handshake at least two weeks prior to the fair date. If you do not yet have an account it's easy to create, and your account will allow you to post jobs and review student resumes in addition to registering for the career fair.
The cost to attend varies by type of organization: $300 regular, $200 government, $100 nonprofit.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made in the final two weeks previous to the fair date.
You are welcome to host information sessions and conduct interviews in conjunction with the career fairs. Rooms for these events can be reserved at no additional cost.
