Hootie's Halloo 2012

New Student Orientation, known at Oregon Tech as Hootie's Halloo, is held each year on the weekend preceding the start of fall term classes. Halloo means to attract someone’s attention by calling, thus, Hootie's Halloo was born. It is an event strictly based on having fun and having a stress free weekend before the first day of school. Benefits for students who come to Orientation are:
