The College of Health, Arts and Sciences Career Fair
The Career Services staff of Oregon Institute of Technology invites you to showcase your organization on campus at the Health Professions and Human Services Career Fair on March 5, 2012. The College of Health, Arts, and Sciences at Oregon Tech provides accredited bachelor degree programs in the health technologies and applied sciences that enable graduates to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for immediate employment. The wide variety of arts and sciences courses provide mathematical and scientific background for the technologies, help develop abilities in critical thinking, problem solving, and professional and technical communication, and provide the ethical and cultural awareness required to meet the changing needs of individuals and societies.

Career Fair space is limited and will be reserved on a first-paid, first-served basis. The $250 registration fee includes one table with tablecloth and two chairs, parking, Internet access, and lunch for recruiters and faculty. You are welcome to host information sessions and conduct interviews in conjunction with the career fairs. Rooms for these events can be reserved at no additional cost.

No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled after February 20, 2012.

Career Fairs
Our career fairs provide an excellent opportunity for you to get to know Oregon Tech better, exchanging information informally with students, meeting with faculty, and touring Oregon Tech's campuses and laboratories. To get the most out of your visit, you may wish to conduct campus interviews preceding or following the event. Employers find that participating in the event provides an opportunity to:
- Promote their organization to students and faculty
- Identify strong candidates for specific career, co-op or internship opportunities (you can build in a day of formal interviewing, either before or after the career fair)
- Get to know Oregon Tech better, by meeting with faculty and touring the campus (including laboratories)
- Educate students and faculty about the technical skills and personal qualities they look for in candidates
