Tech Opportunities Program
September Bridge is TOP’s way of introducing first time freshman who live on campus to the community, the school, the program, and each other. Bridge is full of opportunities to learn about yourself, the resources you have available to you, and to get a taste of college life and expectations.
Students selected for Bridge will enroll in both ACAD 107 (Bridge) and ACAD 207 (fall term class). Students can sign up for these classes during ROAD or can call our office for instructions on how to register for them through your Web for Student account if you weren’t able to at ROAD.
ACAD 107 is our Bridge Seminar. It is the week long program that takes place before classes begin, and you will earn one college credit for completing the program.
ACAD 207 is our TOP Motivating Success fall term academic course that you will take along with the other students you met during Bridge. This class is worth two credits and will build on your Bridge experience with even more academic success information and learning experiences.
Lodging is free and most meals during Bridge will be provided. Move-in is on Saturday between 12pm-3pm, and family is welcome to accompany their student that day. More details will be sent to the student’s Oregon Tech email account in August regarding acceptance to TOP/Bridge.
