Tuition, Fees, & Financial Aid
Distance Ed follows Oregon Tech's policies for tuition and fees, payment procedures and deadlines, and refund policies and deadlines. Once you are registered in an online course, you are fully responsible for the tuition and fees. You are also responsible for dropping courses in a timely manner. Please review carefully the links to the right to understand your responsibilities.

Distance Education students may be eligible for financial aid. Students who want to receive financial aid must be fully admitted* to Oregon Tech and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term. The first step is to file the FAFSA and add school code 003211 for Oregon Tech. Graduate students are evaluated for federal loans and the work-study program. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at dollars@oit.edu, (541) 885-1280 or visit Oregon Tech Financial Aid webpage. If you're applying for a student loan, view the Loan Checklist to be sure you don't forget a step.
*To be fully admitted, a student must submit an application, application fees, official transcripts from all previous college work or high school or GED transcripts. You will be notified of your admission status once the application is complete and has been processed. More information about admission.
