About our Program
The degree is designed for transfer students who have already earned an AAS or AS degree. It builds on a core of 60 credits of Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses taken as part of the AAS or AS degree and adds business, management, information technology, and general education courses to complete the BAS.
Examples of transferable AAS and AS technical degrees might include but are not limited to:

Who is Eligible?
You must meet the Oregon Tech admission criteria. You must have earned a technical Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree. Special admissions arrangements may also be available.

Course Requirements
The BAS in Technology and Management requires 180 quarter credits including 62 upper division credits and 60 lower division career and technical education (CTE) credits transferred from an AAS or AS degree. In addition, the BAS includes 55 general education credits.

As a state-supported university, Oregon Tech offers online degree completion programs at affordable rates. There is no out-of-state surcharge for non-Oregon residents. Current information about tuition and fees can be found on the Distance Education website under Financial Matters. Students who take six credits or more per term may qualify for financial aid. For specific questions on financial aid eligibility, minimum credit requirements, or other questions, please contact the Financial Aid office directly.
