How long I’ve been working here and what path brought me to Oregon Tech

I've been working with Oregon Tech for just over a year, though I've been in my current position for just 5 months. I grew up in Iowa and came to Portland after spending some time in New York. I came to Oregon Tech after working in grant-related fundraising for arts and culture non-profits.

What I’m most passionate about professionally

I am passionate about doing good work that brings communities together and moves them forward in systemic and profound ways. I am especially interested in education, the arts and improving equity and opportunity for everyone.

Why I enjoy working in Development & Alumni Relations

Working in development allows me to be apart of advancing the university in all its aspects. I get to work on a variety of projects, learn about things I otherwise never would, and make an impact in the lives of people and the progress of communities.
