Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity

The Office of Human Resources coordinates Oregon Tech's Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action programs and activities which seek to maintain a learning and working environment committed to fostering diversity, equality, mutual understanding and personal success.

The Affirmative Action Officer coordinates and monitors the University's efforts to provide equitable and effective access to the University's programs and services. Working closely with students and administrative, academic and student services personnel, this office oversees and enforces Oregon Tech's programs for compliance with relevant federal and state civil rights statutes and regulations.

Complaint Process:

Complaints of discrimination and harassment (by or between employees, applicants, or members of the public), including sexual harassment, in educational, student life, and employment activities should be immediately reported to Oregon Tech's designated Title VII/ADA/504 Coordinator, Suzette Yaezenko at 541.885.1108, or Room 108 of Snell Hall.

 *Complaints of gender-based or sex-based discrimination, and sexual harassment (by or between students and prospective students), should be immediately reported to Oregon Tech's designated Title IX Coordinator, Nicole Briggs at 541.885.1847, or Room 225A of College Union.

Inquiries, requests for assistance, complaints or grievances pertaining to Oregon Tech's policies on non-discrimination, harassment, access to programs and services, affirmative action and equal opportunity should be directed to this office.
