Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking a Mid-level Medical Practitioner for the Integrated Student Health Center (ISHC). This is a 9-month, academic year position with benefits, working full-time September 16 through June 15 with the possibility of a part-time appointment June 16 through September 15. 

The purpose of the Nurse Practitioner is to provide primary health care to students within her/his scope of practice. To evaluate, diagnose, treat and/or prescribe health care and treatment for students independently or in conjunction with other health care providers and to provide referrals as indicated. They will participate with the health care team in developing programs and services for the campus community. Each student visit will be a health education opportunity. The Practitioner is jointly supervised by the Administrator of the ISHC and the ISHC Medical Director.

Minimum Qualifications

Must hold a current license to practice as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of Oregon with prescriptive privileges or be able to obtain the State of Oregon license prior to beginning work. Graduation from a nurse practitioner program with a Master's Degree with preparation in the specialty area in which they are expected to practice is required.
