Wilsonville Campus - Psychologist/Counselor
Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking a Psychologist/Counselor to provide services to Oregon Tech students on the Wilsonville campus. This is a part-time (.5 FTE), 9-month position, working from September 16 through June 15. To continue services to a reduced student body over the summer, a part-time appointment may be available from June 16 through September 15. Starting salary range for this position is $20.00 - $27.63 per hour, depending on experience and education.
The purpose of the Psychologist/Counselor is to provide primary mental health care to students within her/his scope of practice. To provide personal, academic, career, and crisis counseling for students and to provide referrals for medication evaluations and other appropriate services as indicated. The Psychologist/Counselor provides consultation and outreach programming to students, faculty and staff. This position advocates for student needs when appropriate and provides student education and programming on mental health and career topics. The Psychologist/Counselor assigns DSM diagnoses when appropriate. This position is jointly supervised by the Director of Student Services and the Administrative Director of the Integrated Student Health Center.
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or closely related mental health field.
- Five years of experience in counseling or mental health setting.
- Licensure as psychologist, professional counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist in the State of Oregon, licensed in another state and able to receive Oregon license within 3 months of appointment.

- Work experience in a higher education counseling setting.
