Oregon Institute of Technology Management Department is seeking candidates for a 9-month tenure-track position in Information Technology (IT) for its Wilsonville Campus. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The Oregon Tech Information Technology program prepares students for a future in working with computers and using technology and information to solve business problems. The field is interdisciplinary with applications to all aspects of the economy. Coursework builds upon a fundamental core along with program specific courses culminating in a yearlong senior capstone course.
Applicants should have expertise and experience in multiple aspects of information technology systems such as systems analysis, database design and management, business intelligence, networking and business analytics. Additional skills, experience and/or certifications in the areas of Health Informatics would be a plus.
Primary responsibilities include developing courses and teaching lecture and laboratory classes both in class and online. Other responsibilities include undergraduate student advising, project mentoring, and support for departmental, institutional, professional, and community service activities.
Master’s Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field (Ph.D. preferred); evidence of relevant professional and teaching experience.

Preferred qualifications include 3 or more years corporate experience, industry standard IT-related certifications, industrial and/or consulting experience; prior teaching experience with evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity.
