Facilities Project and Planning Manager


Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking a Facility Project and Planning Manager for its Klamath Falls Campus.  This is a full-time, twelve-month position with benefits. Salary range for this position is $50,575 - $58,161 depending on experience.

The Facilities Project and Planning Manager assists the Executive Director of  Facilities Management & Planning (FMP) and manages the Universities construction projects from planning to implementation as well as the implementation of programs and policies related to the maintenance of the campuses buildings, equipment, and grounds; and facility capital planning. 

The purpose of this position is to provide guidance and oversight for the planning and implementation of capital repair, renewal, or replacement of physical features on the Oregon Tech campuses; coordinate and manage while working with campus clients and administration with project needs; prepare and administer capital project budgets; participate in the selection of project consultants and contractors; assist the Executive Director with overseeing facility operations at the Wilsonville campus and serves as the property manager for the Harmony facility. The Project and Planning Manager is also responsible for the supervision of the Work Order Center.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Business Management, or related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the design and management of Capital Projects, budget development and control; OR relevant work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience in the design, management and construction of Capital Projects, budget development and control as determined to be equivalent by the department director

  • Experience working at an institute of higher education and/or large complex organizations.
  • Supervisory experience.
