Nagi G. Naganathan

Nagi Naganathan, Ph.D., ASME Fellow, currently serves as Oregon Tech's seventh president, taking office on March 31, 2017.

Christopher G. Maples

Christopher (Chris) Maples, Ph.D., served as Oregon Tech president from 2008-20161.

1998-2007

Martha Anne Dow

Martha Anne Dow served as Oregon Tech president from 1998-20072 before passing away to breast cancer in 2007. The Martha Anne Dow Center for Health Professions, home of Oregon Tech's health sciences programs, was named in her honor.

1991-1997

Lawrence J. Wolf

Lawrence Wolf, Ph.D., served as Oregon Tech president from 1991-1997.

1983-1990

Larry J. Blake

Larry Blake served as Oregon Tech president from 1983-19903.

1976-1982

Kenneth F. Light

Kenneth Light served as Oregon Tech president from 1976-19824.

1947-1976

Winston D. Purvine

Under the direction of Winston Purvine, the first classes at Oregon Vocational School (now Oregon Institute of Technology) were held in 1947. Purvine served as president from 1947-1976. Purvine Hall on Oregon Tech's Klamath Falls campus was named in his honor.


1 Jay Kenton served as interim president between Maples and Naganathan.

2 David Woodall served as interim president between Dow and Maples.

3 W.T. Lemman served as interim president between Blake and Wolfe.

4 W.M. Douglass served as interim president between Light and Blake.
