Changing the auto recovery timer in MS Word 2010

To change the automatic save timer in Microsoft Word 2010, follow the below steps:

1.  Open Microsoft Word 2010.

2.  Click on the ‘File’ tab.

3.  On the left side, click on ‘Options’.

4.  When the ‘Word Options’ dialog box appears, click on ‘Save’.

5.       Under the ‘Save documents’ Heading, you will see a check mark in ‘ Save AutoRecover information every 10 minutes’ Change the 10 to how often you want the document to automatically save.
