I am having trouble sending international faxes
First make sure that your country and city codes are correct. You can
test this by dialing the number from a regular phone and if you get fax
tones when the call is completed then your numbers are correct. Make
sure that there enough pauses is your dial string. It may help if you
put a # at the end of the phone number before the pauses so the
telephone switch knows where the number ends. This may take some
testing. If you still can not complete your call, contact the ITS Help Desk at 5-1470
How do I program Personal Abbreviated Dial / Personal Lists?
If you have a single line phone the directions are on the
analog phones. If you have a multi-line phone the directions are on the
digital phones.
How do I forward my extension to go go directly to voicemail?
Wait for a dial-tone on the phone, press *8. To stop sending calls directly to voicemail, wait for dial-tone and press #88.
How do I forward my extension so that it will ring at a co-workers desk while I'm away?
Wait for a dial-tone on the phone, press *2, wait for dial-tone again,
dial the extension you wish to forward your phone to. After the
confirmation tone, hang up the phone. To stop forwarding your calls,
wait for dial-tone and press #22.
