A world of difference

Wherever you are, OIT most likely has a way to reach you and meet your needs. Distance Education has offered many working professionals the opportunity to complete their bachelor's degrees.

Meanwhile we see most of our full-time enrollment occur at our main campus in Klamath Falls. OIT is proud to offer programs in Oregon's largest city Portland, but is equally pleased to deliver Dental Hygiene through partnership with ODS in La Grande.

Respiratory Care is offered in Medford, while service to The Boeing Company in Seattle rounds out OIT's far-flung endeavors.

Whatever your interests, there's an OIT that's just right for you.

Klamath Falls

Eagles and technologists both take flight in Klamath Falls.

It's where Bald Eagles return to nest each winter and a location made for outdoor recreation. OIT is a beautiful fit with the town and the landscape.

Klamath Falls is where high technology meets the high desert. It boasts active arts and theater communities, in addition to being one of the world's leaders in use of geothermal resources. Crater Lake National Park is located in Klamath County, and OIT uses the park as an outdoor laboratory.

After hours of study, you'll find ample opportunity to hike, bike, kayak and raft. OIT in Klamath Falls has a very successful Outdoor Program, which sponsors trips to ski, fly and ocean fish, camp and much more. Sailing is a popular activity on Upper Klamath Lake. There are also several golf courses within a short commute from campus.

OIT provides you the opportunity to build your brain and work on your back swing. The university's emphasis on academics and opportunity for outdoor enoyment are unparalleled in the Oregon University System.

OIT's service to Portland is mostly at night.

Portland is Oregon's center of commerce, culture and population. OIT's efforts in the Rose City are primarily geared toward degree completion for working professionals. However, there is also the opportunity to pursue Renewable Energy Systems from the freshman year to the senior capstone experience.

The city spans the Willamette River and the Columbia River serves as its nothern border. It also has several thriving suburban towns in its vicinity.

OIT has two campuses in the metropolitan area (OIT Portland East and OIT Portland West), in addition to providing Clinical Laboratory Science at Oregon Health & Science University on Marquam Hill and Paramedic Education at the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Training Center.

La Grande

La Grande is close to the old Oregon Trail.

La Grande is on the old Oregon Trail: a place linked to possibility, hard work and a sense of destiny. Since 2005, OIT has partnered with Oregon Dental Services to provide North Eastern Oregonians the opportunity to obtain an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

A bachelor's degree is offered on the main campus in Klamath Falls and via online through Distance Education.

Our sister university Eastern Oregon is located in La Grande, and it too is a member of the Oregon University System.

Partnership is an OIT core value. We appreciate the opportunity to work with other educational institutions and the business community in preparing our graduates to lead, achieve and succeed in the real world.

Seattle

Seattle
The Seattle skyline is a beautiful display of engineering.

Seattle became home to OIT's most distant outreach in 1998 in partnership with The Boeing Company. The university offers a degree-completion Bachelor of Science program in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, with a Master of Science also offered in the discipline.

Boeing was founded in 1916 in Puget Sound, Wash. The company's culture is built on the premise that "Boeing's strength and competitive advantage comes from its employees." Understanding the importance of its employee resource, Boeing created a Learn Together Program, which facilitates advanced learning and career development for employees at all levels.
