Workshops For Distance Educations Students

This session will give the basics of how to access full articles and books through the library website, how to find articles on specific topics such as medical imaging, management, and more. Copyright 101 (recording, 50 minutes long)
Here students will learn what copyright is, and how not to plagiarize. I will cover how to incorporate research and ideas into writing, and when it is appropriate to cite. We will talk about common knowledge, fair use, and creative commons. Students will also learn citation elements in a variety of formats including MLA, Vancouver, APA, and Chicago.View the slide show without audio here:
