Oregon Tech Senior Projects

The Oregon Tech Library houses a collection of Oregon Tech students' Senior Projects. The purpose of the collection is to showcase exemplary students’ works, illustrative of the knowledge, effort, and type of skills Oregon Tech students acquire which make them competitive in today’s job market. Submitted Senior Projects are available to all library users.

Faculty members supervise the submission of Senior Projects to the library. This is done on a regular basis once or twice a year. Only projects with grades of A and B are submitted to the collection. Faculty and students should remove all sensitive or proprietary information from the projects prior to submission to the library. Project completion years should be clearly stated. If a team of students uses a corporate name on the paper, student names should be submitted separately for cataloging purposes.

Projects should be submitted in paper format; comb binding is preferred. Maps and plans intended to be housed with the text should be folded and placed inside a clearly labeled pocket in the document.

Students must complete the appropriate donation and permission forms available from the library prior to delivery of the final project to their faculty advisor. Those forms must be submitted with the project.

Search for Senior Projects by author, title, subject, project name, corporate name or department. Senior Projects are loaned for a period of four weeks.

All Senior Projects are shelved in the downstairs area of the Library. Individual papers can be found by their accession numbers. Larger format documents (maximum width of 42 inches and length up to 48 inches), such as charts and plans are stored on hanging racks.

Senior Projects are held at the library for five years. After this period all withdrawn copies are shredded unless otherwise specified.
