Printing from our computers can be accomplished by purchasing a print punch card from the Oregon Tech Cashier’s Office located on the first floor of Snell Hall (open M-F, 9am to 3pm PST). Punch cards come in three denominations: $1.00, $2.50 and $5.00. Copies are 10 cents for b&w and 35 cents for color
From a Library workstation, login as LibGuest and print to the LibGuest Follow Me printer. Visit the Access desk at the front of the Library to pick up your copies and have your card punched.
A b&w self-service photocopier is also available in the library where copies can be made for 10 cents. The machine takes change and dollar bills.
Interlibrary loan
Occasionally, you will find that we do not own the book or magazine that you need. When this occurs, record the full bibliographic citation (author, title, date of publication, journal issue number, and pagination) and request this material through your local public library.
Application for borrowing privileges
In order to check out Oregon Tech Library materials, you will need to complete an application for 'community-borrowing privileges'. You must be an Oregon resident. You will need to show your driver's license or other photo identification along with proof of your mailing address. You will also need to know your Social Security number, which serves as your Oregon Tech identification number. If you choose not to submit a social security number, a substitute number can be provided to you through the Oregon Tech Registrars Office. Your account at Oregon Tech will expire after one year.
