Copying, Printing and Scanning

Locations

Oregon Tech Library has three printer/copier units. They are located just north and south of the Access Services desk as you enter the Library. All three units are multifunction machines that are capable of photocopying, computer-printing and scanning. They can output in black and white or color, to hard-copy, email or USB device. Access to these printer/copiers requires an Oregon Tech log-in and an Oregon Tech business account. Charges are automatically applied for any hard-copy output.

Information regarding charges and services can be accessed here.

Visitor Information

There is a coin-operated photocopier available to the general public. This copier is located south of the Access Services desk. The cost is 10 cents per page. This copier can take both bills and coins. However, the Library is no longer able to supply change, so please come prepared.

Visitors to the Oregon Tech Library can print using a guest computer log-in, available at the Reference desk, and by directing their print jobs to the virtual 'follow-me' printer. To obtain print job visitors will first need to visit the Oregon Tech cashiers office located in Snell Hall to purchase a community-printing punch card. Visitors use the punch card at the Access Services desk in the library where they will pick up their printed material.

Additional Features

All printer/copier units (with the exception of the coin-operated unit) are multifunction machines and are capable of outputting a wide array of hard-copy and electronic document types. The printer/copier unit located south of the Access Services desk is supplied with 11x17-inch and legal size paper. Library policy prevents the use of custom-sized paper, heavy stock, and transparencies. A visit to the campus Document Resource Center (DRC) can supply these other needs.

Tightly bound periodicals, or thick and heavy books, can be photocopied at the Access Services desk. Please ask for assistance.
