College Night in Oregon at Oregon Tech Wednesday, November 14th

Are you overwhelmed by the thought of planning for college? You’re not alone. Join other students and parents for College Night at Oregon Institute of Technology – a free, college-planning event. You'll get straight answers and simple strategies from experienced professionals who will take the mystery of out of financial aid and guide you through the process of paying for college.

College Night in Oregon takes place on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the Oregon Tech College Union building on the Klamath Falls Campus from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Parents and college-bound students are invited to attend.

Four $500 scholarships from Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) will be given to attendees who are selected in a random drawing. These scholarships can be used at the winner’s choice of college. Oregon Tech will also give away four scholarships valued at $250 each to be used at Oregon Tech. All scholarship winners must be present to win. As an added bonus, enjoy free pizza and soda while you gather information on topics, including:

  • How to launch a successful future with higher education
  • Chose the right college or academic program
  • Find financial aid and make college affordable
  • Search for scholarships and avoid scams
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
