The Oregon Tech Foundation invites students currently attending Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) or who have been admitted to the university to apply for scholarship support for the 2012-13 academic year.
The Oregon Tech Foundation has approximately 60 scholarships available for this application period, totaling $100,000 in aid. The scholarship application period for this summer is July 1-15, 2012 and can be accessed at www.oit.edu/otfscholars.
Scholarship awards are based on a variety of criteria including academic performance and financial need. Many scholarships are tailored to provide support to students who need it most; while others are designed to support students who excel in certain fields of study.
To be eligible to apply for an Oregon Tech Foundation scholarship, students must be currently enrolled or accepted to attend Oregon Tech for Fall 2012 and have a valid and current student identification number.
Students who are already receiving an Oregon Tech Foundation scholarship for the 2012-13 year are not eligible for award during the summer process. OHSU nursing students are eligible for support for their pre-nursing year plus one additional year.
