Apr. 4, 2013, KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Oregon Tech Foundation extends its thanks to donors for recognizing the importance of continuing education. Columbia Pacific Foundation and Soroptimist International of Klamath Falls are joining forces to provide scholarship funding for single mothers through the Oregon Tech Foundation for the 2013-2014 academic year. This opportunity is a continuing effort of Columbia Pacific Foundation, which offers $10,000 if a matching fund of $5,000 is pledged from another organization. This year, Oregon Tech is honored to announce that Soroptimist International of Klamath Falls has stepped up to the plate.

Columbia Pacific Foundation (CPF) is a nonprofit organization based in Washington State, serving Washington and Oregon. CPF is a private, independent foundation dedicated to enriching the lives of single, working mothers by creating opportunities for success through a college education. Together with Soroptimist International of Klamath Falls, a diverse group of business women dedicated to community service with a special focus on women's issues, these two donors have provided the Oregon Tech Foundation with an opportunity to provide five single mothers with awards. In addition to this, Soroptimist International of Klamath Falls maintains an endowed fund with Oregon Tech to provide yearly scholarships.
