Support your future workforce

Oregon Tech connects companies to its best and brightest students for internship and scholarship opportunites. Companies are encouraged to utilize Oregon Tech's Office of Career Services to connect to student resumes, post a current internship, or advertise career/job opportunities.   

Currently, Oregon Tech has two opportunities for companies or students to receive funded internships through federal grants:

1. U.S. Department of Labor State Energy Sector Partnership (SESP)

Program funds support the Greening of Oregon's Workforce project preparing workers for engineering careers in renewable energy and energy efficicency, and are available to support internships in various industries: Renewable Energy, Green Building Practices, Advanced Drive Train and Energy Efficient Vehicles, and Supply Chain Manufacturing, and related sectors.

2. U.S. Department of Energy Strategic Training and Education in Power Systems (STEPS): Electric Power Engineering Education Partnership

Program funds support internships in the areas of Power Electronics, Electric Power, Electrochemistry and Fuel Cells, PV and Solar Thermal, Geothermal, Power Systems Modeling and Analysis, Distributed Power Systems, Power Conditioning and Conversion, Utility-Appropriate Energy Storage, Embedded Systems/Smart Grid Technologies, and Energy Management/Efficiency.
